Mr Michael Spencer, was appointed to Empire Vale Public School in mid-2008.
I began teaching at Empire Vale PS in mid-2008 on the K/1/2 class. I quickly learnt that the teachers, students and parents have been keeping this unique place a secret to the outside world. I have discovered that the local community heavily rely on each other to make their school great. I am enjoying every minute of being a part of the teaching staff and this year I am teaching Year K-3. I have taught in a career spanning 20 years and the students here at EVPS are wonderful to teach.
I am married with 3 children. I love spending time with them, going to the beach, listening to music and trying to make people laugh (not always successful there... I'm afraid). I like watching most sports. My favourite teams are: NRL – Sharks, Super 14's - Waratahs, Soccer – Sydney FC / Leeds United, Netball – Sydney Swifts, SuperV8 – anything Holden and I love the ‘Under Dog' getting up to win!
