Welcome from our principal

With over 30 years of experience as both a teacher and principal in small schools, I am a strong advocate for the unique benefits these environments offer. I believe small schools foster a supportive, close-knit learning atmosphere where students can thrive. While challenges exist in smaller settings, the diverse and personalised experiences provided more than compensate. As a teaching principal, my role encompasses education, administration, and communication. While I strive to excel in all areas, my primary focus remains on delivering high-quality education and ensuring student success.

Bonita Avery, Principal of Empire Vale Public School
