Harmony Week....
We participated in a very special Virtual Art event put together by The Art Unit, with world renowned artist Marikit Santiago and public schools across NSW to celebrate Harmony Week.
More Highlights....
Special Guests, students and staff at the school gathered for a special assembly to commemorate Anzac Day, honouring the sacrifices made by Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women. The ceremony included a moment of silence, the playing of "The Last Post," and the laying of a wreath made by our students.
Despite the wet weather, our students competed in the Small Schools Cross Country event at Teven-Tintenbar. Congratulations to all for completing the challenging course, and special recognition to those who will now be competing at the Headlands Cross Country Event.
Students took part in a six-week Taekwondo course. Helping to develop discipline, respect, and self-control, while also enhancing teamwork, cooperation, and social skills. Additionally, it boosts self-confidence, focus, and engagement. Congratulations to everyone who earned their belts!
This term has had a strong emphasis on supporting students to make meaningful connections to their learning. Students explored the deeply significant and traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander skill of weaving, using Grevillea leaves and other raw materials..
Students have the opportunity to learn how to cook and prepare different dishes in the kitchen as part of our Lunchtime Lifeskills. We've cooked muffins, pizza, French toast toasted sandwiches, cookies and made delicious salad's from our very own vegetable garden.
Soccer Gala Day
Well done to our Soccer Team. EVPS Soccer crew had a great day out at the Lennox Head Soccer Gala Day. The team played well together with a few wins under their belt.
Congratulations to all our swimmers this year.
Monica Fox was crowned 11 Years Runner Up Champion and our Relay team consisting of Monica, McKenzie, Rome and Honey made it all the way to Zones.
Students have been working hard on their Lino Printing projects for Term 1. They are learning some amazing skills and the creativity we are seeing is incredible. We can not wait to see the finished products.
Wheel Chair Sports
Our Wheel Chair sports day was an empowering and inclusive experience, fostering teamwork, resilience, and a greater appreciation for adaptive athleticism.
On a beautiful summer day, students showed their creativity by moving the easels outdoors, allowing the inspiring surroundings of our school to ignite their artistic ideas.

Sydney excursion 2025
Our Senior's enjoyed a school camp to Sydney, where they got to experience the sights, sounds and get a taste for city living.
Some of the highlights included Taronga Zoo, the Opera House, Imax Theatre, The Rocks and even a surfing lesson in Manly.
