Our school was completely rebuilt after the 2022 floods, featuring state-of-the-art facilities with thoughtfully designed classrooms that are calm, quiet, filled with natural light, and equipped with innovative technology. Our classrooms are soundproofed with FM Assistive Listening system for hearing impaired.
At Empire Vale Public School, we are eco-conscious, featuring a sustainable edible garden, composting initiatives, and buildings designed to maximise natural airflow.
Small Schools Network
Empire Vale Public School is part of the collegiate of Southern Cross Community of Small Schools. 8 local small schools join together throughout the year to compete in Swimming, Athletics, X-Country, PSSA debating, public speaking, spelling bees, creative arts events, fishing, STEM incursions and excursions and much more. As well as these inter school competitions our students have the opportunity to compete in a district, zone, regional and state level.
Behaviour Management
At Empire Vale Public School, behaviour management is approached through a strategic, whole-school framework that supports all students with a focus on prevention, early intervention, and targeted support. We maintain high expectations for student behaviour in line with the Behaviour Code for Students, actively modelling, teaching, and reinforcing positive, inclusive, and safe behaviours. Our approach includes clear strategies to identify, prevent, and respond to disruptive behaviours, including bullying and cyber-bullying, to ensure a respectful and safe learning environment for everyone.
